Daniel Witschkanow, born in 1993 in the charming town of Sulzbach-Rosenberg, discovered a true passion for painting at the age of 6. Self-taught, he learned various techniques which nourished his talent.
The works of two great artists, the renowned impressionist Max Liebermann and the expressionist Jackson Pollock, particularly inspired his creativity. Over time, he developed his own style by exploring a wide range of techniques, specializing in portraits from an early age.
Each of his works carries within it a part of his past, his emotions and his observations of society which have accumulated over the years. Through his portrait painting, he succeeds in captivating the viewer and taking him into a magical world, where diversity is expressed brilliantly. During his school years he continued his artistic work and refined his skills.
At just 14 years old, he experienced his first successes by selling his works and accepting commissions. At the same time, he also acted as a painting tutor, teaching watercolor, oil and gouache techniques. After obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Design, with a specialization in CGI, cinema and photography, he chose to devote himself exclusively and with passion to art.
