Dr. Hide

Docteur Hide, Dr. Hide or perhaps Doriane Hide is a street artist and poet working between Paris and London, at the crossroads of poetry and urban art.

His work involves mixing different media to bridge the cultural gap between old film photos and spray paint. This creates a new narrative from an already existing image to make it a fully embodied work. The image disappears under the spray paint: does its survival depend on the verb, from the letter to the deepest meaning? Since 2021, she has developed pictorial work using images from pop culture and comics.

Already well known under different pseudonyms in the world of urban art in Europe for more than five years and having participated in several group exhibitions in London, Docteur Hide now represents a new perspective, a new project, a new form of expression for this promising and spontaneous artist. His influences gradually appear within his work, creating another dimension of understanding in his existing artistic practice.
