Filippo Pietro Castrovinci
Filippo Pietro Castrovinci, born in Alassio (SV), began working with metal at a young age alongside his uncle, a master artistic blacksmith. This experience sparked in him a deep passion for the art of wrought iron, which he has continued to nurture over the years.
In 2004, he co-founded the Italian Association of Artistic Blacksmiths with other master blacksmiths and is now its president. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions and events, allowing him to engage with other masters and acquire new techniques and inspirations for his creations.
His works result from meticulous and evolving study; he experiments with new design and creation techniques to produce innovative pieces where the past and present blend, thus reigniting the debate on the legitimate use of new tools and technologies in the field of art and creativity. As an artist with a remarkable identity and a distinct signature, he expresses his quest for perfection and creative thinking, where nothing is left to chance or improvisation.
Today, together with his daughter, he runs the company "ArteInFerroCastrovinci" in Capri Leone (ME), specializing in the artistic treatment of metals, where he increasingly dedicates himself to his true passion: art, and more specifically, sculpture.
