The Flying Hat is a work produced using digital tools, this proof is limited to 30 copies and printed on Hanhemühle paper. Mr Strange handles surrealism with a certain dose of derision. This work has many hidden meanings: the hat takes its freedom by crossing the rail. The latter represents an imaginary wall that the character does not dare to cross for fear of the train decorated with the Russian red star which arrives and which represents a form of censorship.

In this work, Aiiroh uses several elements from Nintendo's Super Mario game: Mario the hero of the saga, the stars which make you invincible, the fire flowers which allow you to throw fireballs and the Koopas Troopas which are the turtles with the shells of different colors. Here, the messages are hidden in the details. The stars in the eyes show us the attraction to light and the desire that is expressed while the finger in the nose reminds us of childhood and the naivety that we show towards the world around us.

This work is the perfect example: McDonald's Arch M symbolizes the USA (the superpower) protected by small plastic soldiers. We can also see another contrast between the green of the logo which replaced the red to give a more "green" image and the material from which the soldiers are made.
