Jürgen Angeler undertook studies in communication and design, thus laying the foundations of his artistic career. In 2014 he began to devote himself to painting and participated in his first exhibitions. The following year he presented his first solo exhibition, marking the beginning of a continued development of his technique.
Since then, Jürgen Angeler has held several exhibitions and workshops. He pays particular attention to informal painting, a modern art form that emerged in the 1940s and 1950s. This artistic approach relies on a mixture of arbitrary elements (adjustment impulses) and coincidences (drops, inferences at raclette), which play a determining role. Through the creative process, tension builds up to result in a finished painting that fully expresses it.
Jürgen Angeler achieved success with exhibitions in Germany, Italy and Austria. His works are now part of collections in several European countries, as well as in the United States, Hong Kong and Japan.
