Accomplished artist, Mr. Strange is already well-regarded and featured in collections in France and internationally.
Mr. Strange, also known as Jean-Marie Gitard, is a contemporary French artist born in 1964 who lives in the south of France. Curious and inventive, his artistic journey has evolved over the years to allow him to create without constraints.
Initially embracing a rather classical approach to art, he started as a painter and later became interested in surrealism. This interest enabled him to work by blending painting and sculpture. As a true artist of his time, he now chooses to work with digital tools and media.
His surrealistic vision, conveyed through his works, allows him to create and free himself from all constraints, offering us a very personal perspective on things through his photorealistic montages, where he skillfully handles absurdity, fantasy, and contrast.
All his works are limited editions in small series of a maximum of 30 copies.
