MrKas is originally from Porto (Portugal) and was born in 1980. His interest in art took root during his childhood, influenced by his father, who was also a painter. In 1999, while walking the streets of Porto, he discovered an aerosol can and decided to use it to create graffiti until he returned home.
In 2010, MrKas settled in Spain, and over the years he resided alternately in Belgium and the United Kingdom. Since his beginnings on the streets, his artistic work has grown and is now featured in murals, canvases, museums and exhibitions around the world.
His main source of inspiration lies in individuals, their emotions, their lives, their stories and their circumstances. From a visual point of view, he enjoys deconstructing an image to transform it into something unique, using 3D effects, abstract patterns or anamorphic shapes, all done with a photorealistic technique.
