Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti) was born in Macerata in 1966.
Having worked for over 30 years in the resin industry and having appreciated its versatility, he decided it was time to put his know-how at the service of his greatest passion: sculpture.
Thus, in 2021, he begins the production of his works of art under the Sagrasse signature.
Immediately his popularity as a contemporary artist grew, attracting considerable interest from private collectors around the world.
Her art draws on the pop imagination to investigate and interpret everyday objects, statues, female forms and timeless icons like Mickey Mouse.
From a model created and printed in 3D, he creates a rubber mold into which he pours the piece to obtain raw sculptures. Each piece is then finished, sanded and washed always by hand. And only once the surface is free of irregularities is it lacquered and varnished.
