Diederik van Apple is an artist born and raised in Leiden, Netherlands, who was passionate about comics, books and films since childhood.
After two years of studying law, he realized that it did not allow him to express his creativity and began working as an art representative in an art gallery in Amsterdam in 2005. This allowed him to travel around the world to participate in exhibitions and art fairs, and to discover his true passion for art.
With his experience, artistry and passion for art, Diederik van Apple began creating designs for his own creations using digital techniques such as photography and adding handcrafted elements such as holograms, colors and from glitter to foil or gold foil.
By applying multiple layers of epoxy, he creates a unique and innovative 3D effect for his digital mixed media artworks, which are now popular in international galleries and with art lovers and investors worldwide.
