The sculpture is painted with a two-component varnish to make it more shiny and durable. Gold leaf inserts are also handmade. The artist was inspired by the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, which celebrates imperfections and wounds as symbols of resilience. Each sculpture comes with a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
