Description

This is a painting on canvas by Giorgio Stocco made using several techniques. The artist first printed the background image which he then pasted, in the form of squares, on a canvas. He then enriched the work using acrylic paint to bring out the dancer's tutu.

Due to the artist's choices, we easily recognize a star dancer and more precisely a dancer from the Bolshoi ballet given the Cyrillic alphabet found in the background on the newspaper.
