Avec « Ziggy », EAZ revisite l'iconographie du jeu vidéo culte Space Invaders à travers le prisme de l'artisanat papier. Une créature pixelisée d'un rouge-orangé fluorescent se déploie au centre de la composition, construite carré par carré en relief : chaque « pixel » est une tuile de papier découpée, pliée et biseautée à la main, dont les facettes accrochent la lumière et donnent à l'œuvre une vibration presque électrique.
En arrière-plan, une armée d'invaders blancs, imprimés en filigrane ton sur ton, semble flotter dans un ciel laiteux — clin d'œil aux vagues d'ennemis descendant inlassablement sur l'écran des bornes d'arcade. Ce contraste entre la présence physique, presque sculpturale, de la figure centrale et la discrétion fantomatique du fond crée une profondeur inattendue, comme si Ziggy s'était détaché de l'écran pour envahir notre réalité.
Entre pixel art, street art et art cinétique, l'œuvre joue sur la tension entre le numérique et le fait-main : la froideur binaire du pixel se réchauffe au contact du papier, matériau fragile et vivant.
