Mr. Strange

Accomplished artist, Mr. Strange is an established artist featured in collections in France and internationally.

Mr. Strange, or Jean-Marie Gitard, is a French contemporary artist born in 1964 who lives in the south of France. Curious and inventive, his artistic journey evolves over the years to allow him to create without constraints.

Initially a follower of a fairly classical approach to art, he began as a painter and then became interested in surrealism, which also allowed him to work by combining painting and sculpture. A true artist of his time, he now chooses to work with digital tools and media.

His surreal vision, which he conveys through his works, allows him to create and free himself from all constraints, offering us a very personal view of things through his photorealistic montages where he handles the absurd, the fantastic, and contrast.

All his works are limited editions in small series of a maximum of 30 copies.
