With "Ace," EAZ continues his exploration of the Space Invaders universe, this time invoking a deep, almost cobalt blue with glassy reflections. The pixelated creature, an iconic figure from the earliest arcade machines, emerges from the raised surface: each pixel is a hand-crafted paper tile, whose shiny, beveled faces catch the light like tiny sapphire mirrors, giving the whole piece a cold, magnetic intensity.

Around it, the ghost squadron remains: white invaders printed tone-on-tone populate the pristine background, evoking those waves of attackers relentlessly descending the screen.
