Da Vinci Muse by Aiiroh & Namisen
Artist:Aiiroh
This work uses several Street Art techniques by combining lithography on 300g/m² Fine Art paper with acrylic paint applied by hand by the artist.
In this piece, Aiiroh collaborates with the young Japanese artist Namisen. Originally from the suburbs of Osaka, she is a Shihan master, the highest rank in the Japanese calligraphic art, Shodou.
After attending the Nagoya School of Fine Arts and influenced by the work of Ernst Kolb, she developed a unique and distinctive style through which she depicts subjects with fine, multiple strokes, resulting in striking portraits of shadows and light.
Here, the artists offer us a reinterpretation of the Mona Lisa in Pop Art style.
