EGHNĀ / Lacriss
Lacriss (formerly) EGHNĀ, born in Rome in 1990, is an Italian artist whose passion for art emerged in childhood, nurtured by her family's influence. From a very young age, she was already drawing her favorite cartoon characters on notebooks, walls, and even her school desks. Aware of the importance of art in her life, she decided to pursue artistic training and enrolled at the International School of Comics in Rome, where she took courses in comics and illustration.
Although some academic models did not always suit her, this training allowed her to develop new ideas and gain a more confident vision of her art. Passionate about street art and other contemporary movements, Lacriss draws inspiration from classic cartoons, Disney characters, international icons, as well as social satire and pop/urban themes. Her style is a blend of popular influences, expressed through creations that oscillate between comics and urban art.
Lacriss has participated in exhibitions at renowned galleries in Rome, Madrid, and Las Vegas, and collaborates with several European galleries, thus confirming her mark on the international art scene.
