Mikko
Born in Barcelona in 1982, his father, a well-known pop art painter, passed on a passion for art and drawing from a very young age. Long hours spent watching his father paint in his studio, day after day, left a lasting mark on his childhood.
Although considered an emerging street artist, he began painting in 1999 and, like most street artists, Mikko remains as discreet and anonymous as possible. He had the opportunity to learn from various talented street artists, which allowed him to grow, discover new artistic trends, and refine his skills as an artist.
He likes his art to reflect materials and techniques derived from the street. His influences include the works of Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Magritte, Rauschenberg, Mondrian, Matisse, Dalí, Picasso, Miró, Banksy, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Basquiat, Dillon Boy, Mr. Brainwash, Falcó, and many others.
His works are embellished with doodles, writings, masks, glitter, spray paint, acrylic paint, and markers, making them very unique. Most of the time, his works are exhibited in numerous galleries around the world.
Anticipate the art market with this piece before the artist becomes a must-see figure. He has sold more than two hundred works worldwide.
