Mitch Richmond: Emerging Sculptor of the Pop Art Universe
Mitch Richmond creates sculptures that seek to slow down time by reflecting the resilient and transformative forces of the ever-evolving modern world. His visual language uses popular drawings and objects, while the use of raw materials and a bold industrial style invites viewers to reflect on the concept of these works.
His goal is to encourage the audience to form their own interpretations and connections to the pieces, transporting them to a place where they can develop their own ideas and perspectives. By appreciating the aesthetics of these sculptures, viewers can discover links to their own past, present, and future. These works pay tribute to the spirit of the generation to which he belongs.
