Noisy: German artist passionate about street arts
Noisy was born in Berlin in 1990. She grew up in Neukölln, a socially challenging part of the city, as the daughter of immigrants. Even as a child, she was passionate about the urban art around her and joined a group of artists at a very young age. Inspired by her environment, she studied painting at the Berlin University of the Arts but eventually dropped out to move to Paris. She is currently working there on various projects with well-known figures from the French urban art scene.
Among Noisy’s current influences are Robert Indiana, Banksy, JR, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Takashi Murakami, and JonOne. These are artists she looks to for inspiration and to nurture her own artistic practice.
