With "Jendell," EAZ presents his celestial creature in its most incandescent version: a scarlet red, bright like an alarm, blazing against the deep black background of the composition. The pixelated silhouette—same massive, frontal posture as its azure twin—seems to have changed nature here: the luminous visitor has turned into an alert signal, a silent siren frozen mid-descent.
The artist’s signature technique unfolds its full power here: each pixel is a piece of paper cut, beveled, and hand-lacquered. The glossy varnish makes the red squares vibrate like embers, lacquer dots still warm that catch the light and seem to pulse against the darkness.
