Elmago
Originally from Marseille, Elmago is a self-taught artist who wears many hats: painter, assembler, and collagist.
Using the technique of collage combined with painting on canvas mounted on stretcher frames, Elmago's works are recognizable by his distinctive style.
The artist draws inspiration from images he collects around him. His influences are clear: he uses celebrities who have marked several decades such as Marilyn Monroe, Steve McQueen, Brigitte Bardot, Audrey Hepburn, Alain Delon, and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
His paintings, vibrant and colorful, are instantly recognizable: his works are truly unique, and at Pop Art Gallery, we love this distinctiveness.
He employs numerous techniques combined with different disciplines, which has earned him recognition as an accomplished artist today.
For over 10 years, his works have been displayed in more than 78 art galleries in France as well as internationally (Paris, Reims, Bourges…)
