Bearbrick
Description
This work by Léa Poncharal , made of plexiglass and delivered with an American box, illustrates her unique artistic approach mixing modernity and nostalgia.
It features an iconic silhouette inspired by the famous Bearbrick, composed of orange plexiglass giving the impression of a neon with technological patterns evoking electronic circuits. The vibrant shine of the material reinforces the sensation of light and movement, central elements in the artist's work.
Colorful butterflies, finely cut, come to rest delicately on the figure and in the surrounding space. Their presence symbolizes transformation, ephemerality and lightness, contrasting with the rigidity of the main structure.
The white textured background adds an extra dimension, playing on the reliefs and accentuating the impression of the butterflies floating. The whole composition illustrates the dialogue between nature and technology, between past and future.
