With “Jendell,” EAZ presents his celestial creature in its most incandescent version: a scarlet red, vivid as an alarm, blazing against the composition’s deep black background. The pixelated silhouette—with the same massive, frontal stance as its azure twin—seems to have changed nature here: the luminous visitor has transformed into a warning signal, a silent siren frozen mid-descent.
The artist’s signature technique unfolds here in all its power: the pixels are a skilful blend of paper and vinyl. The glossy finish makes the red squares flicker like embers, like still-warm lacquer dots that catch the light and seem to pulse against the darkness.
