Its bold, deep royal blue snaps against the anthracite background like a banner—a brilliant electric midnight blue, somewhere between sapphire and a cathode-ray screen.
The artist’s signature technique displays all its expertise here: the pixels are a sophisticated blend of paper and vinyl, edged with a pale blue border that traces a fine, frosted framework around the figure. The glossy varnish makes the light ripple across the facets like a freshly polished car body—the squares seem saturated with lacquer, almost wet, vibrating with the slightest shift in the viewer’s gaze.
